A STELLAR NIGHT OUT presents one of Sweden’s hottest exports – DJ Axwell with an opening set by our very own DJs Gabriel and Blink.

It was probably Abba and Ikea that put Sweden on the map, but Axwell has definitely upped its cool factor. As the world’s #14 DJ (via a recent DJ MAG poll), Axwell (aka Axel Hedfors) has multiple accolades under his belt–as deck spinner, producer, label owner and remixer.
Already one of the most famous names in the biz, this extraordinary master of house music has played huge festivals like Glastonbury and Creamfields as well as stamped his name on remixes for bigwigs as diverse as NERD, Hard-Fi and Madonna.

His versatility in embracing and rehashing all kinds of music genres–from disco to indie rock, hip hop to house–makes him one of the most flexible DJs in the scene and has since trailblazed a path for other similarly dynamic remixers, as well as birthed an alliance with Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello as Swedish House Mafia.

Come 8 January 2010, clubbers in Kuala Lumpur will be in for a colossal party of big tunes and sky-rocketing vibes as Axwell drops his dance music mastery on partygoers’ heads. Supporting will be local DJ heroes Gabriel and Blink, who will help set you straight for 2010. The price to party?
